At Convergence 2006 in the AX13 session on 3/27/06 with Dean Wierman, Mey
Meenakshisundaram, and Raghavendran Gururajan, Dean mentioned a knowledge
base article or hot fix for a known bug where a remote procedure call would
cause an error if a chuck of data larger than 64K was requested from the
server, the connection would be terminated. I have searched Customer Source
for hot fixes and have not been able to find it. Does anyone know what hot
fix or KB article Dean was referring to?

Any help attaining this info would be greatly appreciated.

I talked to the Axapta Tech Support team and they analyzed our server logs
(both windows and sql server) and could not find any obvious problem. I am
hoping this Hot Fix or KB mentioned by Mr. Wierman will help us solve this
problem. The error we are recieving is:
"The Microsoft Axapta Object Server has shutdown the connection to your
computer. An administrator might have requested termination of your session
or the Object server might be shutting down or restarting. If the problem
persists please contact your administrator"

The AOS is still running and other users on the AOS are not having any
trouble.

Any other advice or suggestions?

Thanks,
Mike

Hi Mike,
The one that Dean mentioned is for RPC protocol which is used in Ax
4.0.
That support article would not help Ax 3.0. Axapta Tech support would
be the best source to troubleshoot any production issues.

Thanks
